  • The Paper

"The paper looked very old and worn, as if it had been passed around to a variety of different people, hidden in a number of secret compartment, and perhaps even divided into different piles, driven around a city in horse drawn carriages, and then put back together at midnight in the back room of a bookstore disguised as a cafe disguised as a sporting goods store"-Slippery Slope pg 130

"A man of my acquaintance once write a poem called, 'The Road Less Traveled,' describing a journey he took through the woods along a path most travelers never used. The poet found that the road less traveled was peaceful but quite lonely, and he was probably a bit nervous as he went along, because if anythig happened on the road less traveled, the other travelers would be on the road more frequently traveled and so couldn't hear him as he cried for help. Sure enough, that poet is now dead."- Lemony Snicket, The Slipery Slope, p. 1

  • I am terribly sorry it took me so long to update again. As I said before, I was terribly busy. I had to meet Quigley Quagmire in an abandoned bathrobe emporium, where we disguised ourselves as mannequins while we figured out what to do next. We finally manged to send a Volunteer Factual Dispatch to Captain Widdershine's submarine. Here is what the dispatch said:

Volunteer Factual Dispatch, to the Queenqueg, from Quigley Quagmier

It is my understanding that you have three additional volunteers on bored. We are in desperate need of their services for a most urgent matter. Please deliver them Tuesday to the location indicated in the rhymes below.

" 'O Oysters, come and walk with us!' The Walrus did beseech. 'A plesant walk, a plesant talk, along the movie theater."

"At the pink hour, when the eyes and back turn upward from the desk, when human engine waits like a pony throbbing party..."
